Fleet Feet Sports — We are a specialty store carrying athletic footwear, apparel and accessories for runners and walkers.  Our store is staffed by runners, walkers, and fitness enthusiasts just like yourself.  Whether you are a beginning or an elite athlete, we will offer outstanding customer service and strive to cover the total fitness needs of our community.   Our knowledgeable staff will take you through a video gait analysis which provides us with the information we need to fit you in the best shoe for your foot.  We are also committed to enhancing and growing the running and walking communities, offering educational resources, training and racing opportunities to assist you in achieving your goals.

Half Marathon Training Program

Our customized group training program will begin the middle of August. We will provide participants with a state-of-the-art training schedule, three group training sessions per week, mentor coaching, a team shirt and tons of positive energy!
Team Limit: 30 (only 15 spots left!)

Registration begins July 5th at Fleet Feet and closes once it is filled.

§ This beginner to intermediate level program will take participants through 13 weeks of training to the Huntsville Half Marathon on November 14th.
§ Each participant will need to be able to run 6 miles on his/her own with relative comfort at the start of the program and must have completed a 10K or half marathon in the past 4 months.
§ We will meet three times per week for group runs. These sessions enhance the training by offering peer support, mentor coaching, and "Healthy Training" techniques.

Race preparation will include two smaller races. Cost for the program is $75, which does not include race registration. Kick Off Meeting, will take place Monday, August 10th at 7:00 p.m. at Fleet Feet Huntsville. You will pick up your shirts and packets at that time. Our first run is on Monday, August 17th.
