Community Involvement:
Since arriving in Huntsville about a year ago, I have not had a chance to donate much of my time to the community. My goal for next year is to volunteer and help out more at the races and of course bring my table whenever needed.

Short term and Long Term Running Goals:
Short: Finish in the top 50 at the Jacksonville Half Marathon December 14, 2003.
Long: Qualify again for Boston and run both it and the New York Marathons.

Brief Bio:
My name is Gail Whelon and I am originally from New Zealand. I have always been involved with sports since I was very young. Gymnastics being my first passion, competeing at the Wakard level. I dabbed in a little coaching and then became interested in running. I have since completed 4 marathons, many half-marathons, 10K’s, and 5K’s. I love to travel like most Kiwis. My profession is Massage Therapy and I am very honored to be a part of the Fleet Feet Racing Team. Thank you!
