Brief Bio:  I was born and raised in NEW YORK CITY in a large Irish Catholic family!!  I began running as a way to lose weight in and after college.  I started getting more serious about running ~11 years  ago.  Racing in PA, baby strollers were allowed so most of my racing up there was done behind my daughter and next to Chip, my husband of 21 years.  Since moving back to Alabama, I've gotten more serious about running, especially in recent months.  I have 2 children, Nathaniel, 18, a freshman at Auburn, and a daughter Caralyn 11, who I'm homeschooling currently.
