If you're looking to run for something other than Easter eggs, there's a couple of good events planned for this weekend and there's also a special Tuesday race.
On Saturday, the Scottsboro Half Marathon starts at 8 a.m. at Goosepond Colony, 417 Ed Hembree Drive in Scottsboro. Over 400 runners will start the first-time race and it's full. Packet pickup is Friday from noon-7 p.m. at Fleet Feet Sports in Huntsville, 2722 Carl T. Jones Drive, and Saturday starting at 6:30 a.m. inside the Goosepond civic center. On Tuesday evening, the second annual Double Helix Dash 5K and 1 mile run will be held starting at 5:30 p.m. at McMillian Park at Hudson Alpha Institute for Biotechnology. Contact Carter Wells email@example.com. Packet pickup is Saturday at Fleet Feet.
