Join Our No Boundaries Beginner Training Program!!

WHAT IS NO BOUNDARIES?

The Fleet Feet Sports No Boundaries 5K training program is designed for beginner runners and people who are currently inactive or minimally active.

This new year, join Fleet Feet Sports and New Balance to accomplish your first 5k. The program focuses on beginners, but all levels of walkers and runners are welcome. The program is structured to help you cross the finish line of your first 5K in less than three months. Along the way we’ll be providing you with motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice, weekly group training runs or walks, and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury. Plus, you’ll have the camaraderie of others just like you!

Fleet Feet Sports offers numerous No Boundaries programs throughout the year on different training dates, times, and locations for you to pick a training program that works with your schedule! The following are the No Boundaries training programs that will be offered during the Fall!

Goal Race: Liz Hurley Ribbon Run

Registration Opens: Sunday, May 26, 2013
Kick-Off Date: Monday, July 29 at 7PM
Program Start Date: Week of Monday, August 5, 2013
Race Date: Saturday, October 19, 2013
Training Time and Location Options:

- Fleet Feet Sports on Tuesdays at 9 AM and Thursdays at 8:30 AM
    -Fleet Feet Sports and surrounding areas
- Fleet Feet Sports on Mondays at 6PM and Wednesdays at 6:00 PM
    -Fleet Feet Sports and surrounding areas
- Madison on Mondays at 6 PM and Wednesdays at 6:00 PM
    - Locations: Indian Creek Greenway and the Madison YMCA

Registration Opens: Sunday, May 26, 2013
Kick-Off Date: Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 7 PM
Program Start Date: Monday, August 26, 2013
Race Date: Saturday, November 2, 2013
Training Location and Times:Veterans Park in Priceville on Mondays and Thursdays at 6:30 PM.

Is No Boundaries right for you? 
  • If you are inactive or minimally active, No Boundaries is perfect!
  • If you currently do some spurts of running but not able to run a 5k, then No Boundaries would be a good step for you!
  • If you are not able to run but would like to incorporate walking into your lifestyle, No Boundaries is your key!
  • You simply want to meet like-minded people and be part of a healthy social outlet while getting in a workout, No Boundaries is, again, your answer!
  • Must be at least 14 years of age to participate.
  • If you currently run a 5k in 33 minutes or less, then you should consider Next Step 10k Training.
